2007 “Make-Ya-Rich” Fantasy Football Rules
(1) Cost to enter is $50.00 due at draft.
(2) The league is a 12-team league. Each team will start with the exact players they ended up the 2006 season with - except for players who have had contracts expire. You are allowed a one year extension to one of the players who has a contract expiring.
(2a) Any reference to a defense includes the special team.
(2b) By August 17 (7 p.m.)... each team will declare which players they plan to return to the NFL pool. You may drop as many players as you want. You can drop players that still have years left on a contract... but you lose the contract years.
(2c) The draft. The last place team of 2006 will have first pick. The 2006 champion will be last. The draft order will remain the same in each round. Everyone participates in each round until their team has 13 players and 2 defenses on the roster. You can select any available player from any position... but are responsible for being able to field a complete team each game week. There is no penalty if you cannot... you just won’t get any score for those positions.
(2d) There is a salary cap on the 13 skill position players. The salary cap will only apply prior to the drop day of August 17. Any team over the salary cap will need to get their team at or below the unit number of 89 by drop day. Afterward... the salary cap will not play into the draft.
(2e) After the teams are set, a depth chart will be submitted by each team owner. The depth charts should be submitted on the league’s message board. There are no limits as to how often the depth chart may be changed. It does not take the place of the submitted “starting lineup”. However, it will be used to determine what players are used in place of a player in the starting lineup that does not play. If for some reason a player does not compete in a game... the player in the highest position on the depth chart will replace him in the starting lineup. Once a player plays at least one down... he will not be able to be replaced should he not continue. The depth chart may not be changed between the start of the first NFL game of the week and the end of that week’s Monday night game.

The replacement player must be in the same position as the injured player, and the change will return as soon as your player is not listed as OUT. You can only have one injury replacement at a time.
(7) On a first come, first serve basis... anyone that has a drafted player that is cut and no longer on any NFL team... will be able to pick up another player from the NFL pool.
(8) Trades. Any are allowed until Saturday, October 27th at 7 p.m.. Trades will not be allowed after that time unless it is necessary to field a complete team because of either a bye week or injury. (10) Six teams will advance to the playoffs. The league will be split into three divisions and the top team of each division at the end of the regular season will advance. Of the remaining teams, the three with the best records will advance as wildcard teams. To determine playoff teams: <To determine division champions>: In the event of a tie between the top teams of a division at the end of the regular season... the first tie-breaker will now be the division record. Second tie-break will be total season points. Third tie-break will be points scored in the final two weeks of the regular season. Forth tie-break will be points scored in the final four weeks of the regular season.
Of the remaining teams... Three wildcard teams will be selected using (1) league record (2) total season points (3) points in the final two weeks (4) points in the final four weeks. This method will be used to seed the division champions 1-3 .... and, seed the wildcard teams 4-6. Teams one and two will have bye weeks in the first round. Playoff week one will be team 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5. Playoff week two will be the (4 vs 5 winner) vs team 1 and (3 vs 6 winner) vs team 2. Playoff week three will be the final. Playoff ties will be broken by the higher seed advancing with the exception of the final game where a tie results in co-champions splitting the total of the 1st and 2nd place money.
(12) Any protest should be made to Dave Ewoldt. The protest will be voted on by all teams of the league. A tie vote results in no change to original decision.
(13) $325 will be the first prize money, with $125 for second and $50 for 3rd and 4th places.
