while driving about 8 miles southeast
of Okarche, OK
1/3/09 NA 4 NA ALQ 6:00 a.m. - 6:35 a.m. CST - Saw
four meteors while driving to work
between Okarche and Oklahoma
City, OK.
1/3/09 65min 86 Clear-37F-S10 ALQ 4:20 a.m. - 5:25 a.m. CST - Near
perfect viewing conditions. About 20
percent of the meteors had nice
brightness... with a couple of fireballs.

Dominant shower: Quadrantids
12/13-12/14 80min 22 PCldy-55F-S12-17 SW 11:20 p.m. - 12:40 a.m. CST - Despite
a very bright moon and periods of
clouds to the NW and SE... managed
to see a good handful of meteors. A
few were bright but just out of frame.

11/8/08 42min 7 Clear-42F-WNW3 N 12:10 a.m. - 12:52 a.m. CST -
Once again... most were faint...
However, did manage to capture
one in the upper left of this photo.

11/7/08 32min 0 Clr/Cldy-48F-NW5 N 7:30 p.m. - 8:02 p.m. CST - After
seeing one bright meteor a short time
earlier... spent a half hour out and
came up empty. Mid and high level
clouds rolled in quick.
11/7/08 NA 1 NA NNE 6:49 p.m. CST - Saw one bright, long-
lasting meteor while driving between
Okarche and Kingfisher, OK.
11/6-7/08 66min 11 Clear-41F-WNW8 NW 11:59 p.m. - 1:05 a.m. CST - Most
were faint. “Something” very bright
happened behind me about 12:30 a.m.
which brightened the entire area for
about a half second. Observed from:
